Counting Blocks and creating schedules Print

Download Demo...

Command = BCOUNT

BCOUNT will count blocks in the current drawing and create a schedule. You have the option to send the results to the screen or place the results as text into the drawing or select a single block on the drawing.

All you have to do is highlight as many blocks as you want from the dialogue box. If the “Create schedule”  box is not checked the quantity of  each selected block is sent to AutoCAD’s text screen. Otherwise the list is created as text and you are asked to select the lower left corner of the first line

Note:

The schedule is created on the current layer with the current text style. The height is entered at 2 x the DIMSCALE variable. So if the DIMSCALE is 100 then the text height is 200.
